Taco Grande in Abilene

The chips were stale. I asked for a cheese enchilada and received a chicken enchilada instead. To make things worse, the tables looked like they had not been wiped down in a while.

45 yrs ago I loved the tacos. Not so much now.

decided to order out and figured I’d try taco grande! Was simple and easy. The guy in the phone was professional and easy to understand. And food was delivered around the time they said it would be. And the funny tacos are actually pretty d damn good!!! Ain’t nothing funny about the taste and price! Y’all got s winner taco grande, and a satisfied customer.

Burrito Deluxe had no meat at all was refied beans sour cream lettuce .

The food was great, but there are problems with the restrooms that the franchise owners need to let the manager get fixed.

Clean, busy and very good! Had tacos and a deluxe taco. A trip down Memory Lane!

We are not fans of food served in Styrofoam and cutlery that can't handle the food. Food is too sacred to be presented haphazardly and carelessly. The vent grills looked really grungy. We are not likely to eat at a Taco Grande again.

Daughter loves the Sancho.Drove from Topeka to Abilene just to buy SANCHOS

Get all the way home in different town an half ur order is missing.. Check before you leave.. Learned my lesson

I love this place. I always get the same thing everytime. But the beans tasted weird

I am a hardcore taco bell fan and typically don't like other fast-food Mexican places, but I was pleasantly surprised by taco grande. It's slightly more Mexican than the totally Americanized Taco Bell, but still kinda fast food type Mexican. I've had the taco salad and regular tacos and they were super delicious. I will be going here more, like ALOT more

Seriously addicted to Taco Grande. Love the double sancho. I always stop by when I am in town. Great food for a great price. It's also always clean.

Had to wait to get waited on because it looked like it was pay day and everyone seemed to be having a problem with their check, was the only one that wasn't employed there. However the pay check issue was more important than customer service. Won't go back for a while. There are other places to eat here.

I love Taco Grande's tacos and refried beans! My husband enjoys the loaded baked potato. We try and eat there whenever we're in the vicinity.For years, I've craved their hot sauce, swearing it is addictive. We've even purchased a couple of gallons of hot sauce and frozen it in smaller containers for home use.The taco meat is delicious, and the bit of grease that seeps out as a bite is taken is what makes the taco amazing.The restaurant itself is in need of an update, but then again, it's vintage Taco Grande. Maybe a deep clean and paint?All that said, we ate there last night and were disappointed for the first time in our nearly 30-year love affair with Taco Grande. The hot sauce didn't have quite the same bite and was on the sweet side. The taco shell tasted different and the meat was not its historical, greasy, tasty self. We are sincerely hoping this was a one time bad night and not a permanent change of ingredients. We won't give up on Taco Grande just yet.
